1. Try pairing a printed pencil skirt with a blouse that is also printed. You can totally mix prints, as long as they contain the same colors. For example, with this skirt, I would pair a cream and black printed blouse that has a smaller print.
2. Pair a cropped blazer with the skirt. A cropped jacket that hits just at the waistband of the skirt to define your waist and to add a professional vibe to your look.
3. Piggybacking off of the previous tip, you can also toss a denim jacket on with the skirt. A denim jacket adds an effortless touch, but still looks cool, while being casual enough for an every day ensemble.
4. Add a bold accessory to compliment, but not compete with the print of the skirt. Since this skirt from Loft is fairly muted, I would add a bold statement necklace or a bright heel to my outfit. However, be sure to keep the rest of your look simple, so your look is not over-the-top.
