Louisana born but New York raised infamous tattoo artist Scott Campbell is getting bottled and sold. Now this talented artist's skills can be seen on more than your favorite celebrities.

Campbell has worked on everyone from Howard Stern to Courtney Love. Now he is partnering with a little-known cognac brand from France named Hennessey. This is not the first time this tattooist has joined forces with a French brand, Louis Vuitton Creative Director Marc Jacobs collaborated with Scott Campbell, whereby Scott customized a number of fancy leather bags for a men's line for the 2011 S/S collection.

This collaboration is a seamless one. Both Hennessy and Campbell's artwork are staples in pop culture. It makes sense to create something cognac consumers will covet for years. Hennessy Very Special (V.S), the world’s #1 Cognac, announces the latest edition of its Very Special Limited Edition series with a new bottle design created by American tattoo artist Scott Campbell. Heath Ledger's former tattooist is joining the likes of Shepard Fairey, Os GemĂȘos, Futura, and KAWS who have previously collaborated. The Brooklyn-based Campbell was in attendance of course along with other familiar faces. Chicago's social royalty came out to 1st Ward in Wicker Park to celebrate the Hennessy V.S Limited Edition Bottle Launch. Charmaine Johnise, currently on VH1's New Hit Show Black Ink Crew Chicago showed up in flirty spirits per usual. Genetically blessed DJ Ruckus and his fiance, Victoria Secret model, Shanina Shaik rocked the party spinning Michael Jackson disco hits after trap bangers. Lamorne Morris, Chicago native, an actor of Fox's hit sitcom, New Girl, also worked the scene.

Party guests enjoyed the evening’s signature cocktails. "Loop Life", "The Autograph", and my personal favorite, "The Inspiration" were amongst the cocktails offered. "The Inspiration" combined Hennesy with blackberry mint syrup, lemon, and soda. I suggest you snag the bottle while you can, and try this tart concoction at home. Its 750ml bottle is approximately at $35, a limited number of deluxe sets in luxurious wooden boxes are around $150. Chicago being chosen as a spot of Campbell's promotional July tour is an honor. Only two other American cities were chosen to promote this beautiful bottle and they were NYC and LA.
