How to Style: Tweed Shorts

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great week and are ready for the weekend. Today, I am showing you a key piece to transition your look from the summer months into the fall. The piece I am referring to is a pair of tweed shorts. Tweed is a heavier material; however, when this material is cut into shorts, it makes for a piece that is both summer and fall ready. Below you will find a variety of tips as to how you can style these shorts.

1. Wear them to work. Try pairing your favorite work blouse with these shorts for a new take on your typical 9 to 5 look.



2. Mix up your prints. You do not need to match prints from head to toe. Instead, choose different prints from florals to stripes and pair with tweed for a unique mix.

3. Toss on a leather jacket. A cool leather jacket in a hue that ties back into the color of the shorts is the perfect way to make ladylike tweed, a bit edgier. Or, if a leather jacket isn't your thing, then try a leather shirt.
