I have a little confession to make. I'm having a hard time letting go of summer just yet. The unseasonably warm weather has me dreading the cold weather that I know is just around the corner. Don't get me wrong, I love the fall. Especially in the city. All the gorgeous colors of the midwest, but there is just something about the summer that I just love. Whether it is the warm weather, long days, memories that you create during the slow times - I just feel so alive in the summer. So, I'm doing everything I can to keep myself in that positive summer mindset.

I'm keeping the grill going and the bonfires lit until I can't no more. Rogue has been in the cooler during this unseasonably warm October. Why? Well, because their latest concoction: Paradise Pucker - is so distinctly summer. In fact, it is inspired by the land of eternal summer. It is a Hawaiian-inspired sour ale brewed with passion fruit, orange and guava. Inspired by Rogue’s longtime admiration for the state of Hawaii, Paradise Pucker is dedicated to the Mahalo spirit as well as Rogue’s late founder, Jack Joyce, a lifelong lover of the islands and part-time resident.

This ale is a sweet and sour playful mix on the tongue that packs a punch. It's available in Hawaii as of Sept. 1st and in limited quantities at all Rogue locations. Check out www.rogue.com for more information.
