One Garment at a Time

Women's History Month has got us, over at Halfstack, feeling some type of way! There isn't a more perfect time to focus in on great brands doing even better things for the community. Aventura Clothing is one to hone in on this month. It is a family owned company that, not only has a strong focus on being environmentally friendly, but they have also partnered up with an inspiring program.

Aventura has proven to be nothing short of a motivated company out to make an impact. With their organic and sustainable fibers, they are raising the bar for future brands. Being socially and enviornmentally responsible has become more and more of an expectation today. Aventura has stepped up to the plate with sustainable fabrics and green initiatives. Not to mention, they have recently teamed up with Uncommon Threads.

Uncommon Threads offers clothing that boosts self-esteem and makeovers for women in need. It is important that every women recognizes her own beauty—inside and out. This is a powerful organization that deserves a shout out for Women's History Month.

A Few of My Favorites From Aventura
Avis Dress:

I have a special love for this dress, and it is wonderful for three reasons. First of all, the material is cool and breezy for summer, but it is also professional looking. Throw a blazer on to cover your shoulders, and you're ready for your meeting! This dress is also a great staple to add to your wardrobe. I don't know about all of you, but I am a sucker for buying every statement accessory that crosses my path; with that being said, I can throw just about any of my fun scarves, hats or jewelry with the Avis Dress. Lastly, YOU CAN WEAR ANY BRA WITH THIS DRESS. I'm not kidding. The upper back is covered with an extra contrasting layer, so enjoy!

Redford Jacket:


This jacket is one of the top items in my wardrobe for this spring. It is ultra lightweight, which is not only great for nice days with a brisk wind, but it is also great for packing! Spring and summer time weather calls for great adventures. This jacket is a fun way to add a pop of color to your outfit, or to compliment floral prints this season. Must-Have Accessories:
As I have previously mentioned, I am a huge advocate for accessories to spruce up an outfit. Some great finds are in Aventura's New Arrivals tab, so be sure to check them out! When it comes to spring time, I don't think there can be enough color. That is why the Madeline Scarf has me drooling over my laptop; it's floral, it's fun, and it can also act as an extra layer. If scarves aren't your thing, the Albany Hat is perfect to show off your femininity (and hide from the sun).
