Hello HalfStackers! I hope you all are having a great week and have been enjoying those super warm temps here in Chicago! I know this weekend does not look as promising; however, we have to take the good with the bad. So, for some good, I am sharing with you my styling tips on how to style a black, lace jumpsuit. This piece is so classic to your wardrobe, but is something that will instantly make you feel classy and sexy! Below are my five tips for styling this gorgeous garment!
1. Keep Accessories Minimal. The jumpsuit, itself, is such a standout piece that there is no need for a statement piece of jewelry. Add a few fun rings and some stud earrings to be set!
2. Choose the Right Shoe. Depending on how the jumpsuit is cut, you will need to adjust your shoes accordingly. Since mine pictured above is more of a straight cut, I went with a metallic, single strap heel, so it would not weigh it down.
3. Add Some Color. Black is classic and is a great base for adding a pop of color. Whether it be with a red lipstick, floral clutch, or even a pink pump, a little color goes a long way to instantly change up the overall look and feel of the ensemble.
4. Take your Hair into Consideration. My hair is right at the shoulders and is styled most of the time with messy waves. So, having this high-neck black, lace jumpsuit really complimented my hairstyle. If you have long hair and decide to go with a similar high-neckline, then I suggest trying to wear it in a high ponytail or even in a textured bun.
