Real Madrid beat Lewandowski's Bayern Munich side 6-3 on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick for the Bernabeu outfit to take his Champions League goals tally past 100.

Real manager Zinedine Zidane is eyeing transfer targets ahead of what is expected to be a busy summer of spending in the Spanish capital.

And Spanish newspaper AS claim Ronaldo and his team-mate Sergio Ramos want to help the recruitment drive.

According to the report, both Ronaldo and Ramos told Lewandowski that there is room for him in the Real squad.

Real tried to sign Lewandowski back in 2014 when the Poland international was at Borussia Dortmund.

But the striker instead opted to move to Bayern, where he has won two Bundesliga titles and is on course for a third.

According to the report, Lewandowski is aware of officials in the Bernabeu that are working on signing him.

And the 28-year-old is said to have gone against doctors' orders and played with a shoulder injury during Tuesday's 4-2 defeat.
