The Fun Begins At Headquarters River North

Let's be real, a bar that has free video games, an amazing craft beer selection and tasty finger food is already pretty cool enough.  So, how could it possibly get better than that?  Headquarters Beercade, in River North has found a way!  Their latest happy hour special, Where The Sidewalk Ends, The Drinking Begins, lets you enjoy your favorite Headquarters appetizers and cocktails for just $5 each, every Tuesday, from 5pm to 8pm!  Mind blown, right?! 

I recently visited The Headquarters River North location to sample a variety of their signature cocktails and appetizers for myself, and I haven't stopped craving literally everything since! 

One of my favorite cocktails that I tried was the pina colada!  It was so creamy; made with matcha-coconut cream, rum, caramelized pineapple and tiki bitters. 

 

 I also sipped on the beautifully colored, spicy margarita, and their take on a Tequila Sunrise!

As for food, I couldn't get enough of the mozzarella sticks!  Not your average, breaded, cheesy sticks, these are made with filo and truffle honey.  Seriously, the perfect salty/sweet combo! 

I was also surprised by how tasty the buffalo cauliflower was!  No need to look back....you read that correctly.  Fried cauliflower, in house-made buffalo sauce and a choice of dipping sauce; it was so good, I almost forgot I was eating vegetables!  

In addition, I enjoyed the mahi-mahi tacos, chili lime wings and chicken fried pork.  I truly enjoyed everything and I will most definitely be back soon to enjoy it all again!  Pinball counts as cardio, right?
