1. Accessorize Accordingly. This midi dress is super simple, so I wanted my look to pop by incorporating bold jewelry. Choose pieces that are personal to you and work with each other. For example, I added a gold necklace and gold cuff that both have strong lines.
2. Layer it Up. Tossing on a vest, denim jacket, or blazer can add another element to your midi dress. This layering piece can change up the look completely by going from sleek and minimalist to bohemian and feminine depending on the piece you choose.
3. Belt it. To help define your waist, you can belt your midi. My midi has a waist that comes in due to the way it was stitched at the waist, but if yours is on the looser side, you can add a belt, so you do not lose your shape.
4. Lighten Up Your Shoes. Since most midi dresses are made out of lighter materials for the warmer months, going for a lighter shoe is a must. The heels I chose for my look are strappy and allow for much of the foot to be shown, which works with the lightness of the garment.
